It’s that time of year where treats abound and this is the first in a list of fun, easy holiday treats!
I really don’t think there is anything easier unless you buy something pre-made from the store – but who wants to do that when you can impress the masses with homemade awesomeness?
So here we go…
Ingredients
White Powdered Donuts
Candy Corn
Melting Chocolate or Mini Chocolate Chips
(Only 3 ingredients? Really? – Yes, really!!)
Directions
STEP 1 – Lay out your powdered donuts on a tray of some kind. I guess this step is kind of optional. You could pull them right out of the bag but I had to separate mine onto three different trays.
STEP 2 – Melt the chocolate for the snowman eyes and mouths. I whole-heartedly LOVE the Simply Melt wafers because you can put them in the microwave and it takes literally 2 minutes at the most to melt it (no double boiler required, yay!). BUT, if you prefer chocolate chunks or chips and want to use a double boiler – go for it!
STEP 3 – Get ready to dot your eyes (and mouths)
I find it easiest to use a medicine syringe. Just suck up the chocolate and start making faces! Be aware that once the chocolate sets, the dots aren’t superstuck (the chocolate doesn’t adhere to the powder too well), so be careful when handling them (like don’t drop the candy corn right on the mouth like I did) or the face will just slide right off!
STEP 4 – Once all your snowmen have eyes and mouths, the last thing you need to do is give them noses. I used regular candy corn for this. Just stick one in each hole with the white side facing up.
TADA! – You’re done, you’ve got a cute edible snowman! How easy was that? Supremo! (shhh, don’t tell!)
Merry Christmas and don’t forget to check out my other holiday treats!

So cool! Thanks.
